Harvest 2020

This year at Northgate, our Harvest Festival was a little different with Mrs Penny running it from home and each class needing to record their contribution on video so that we could share it between the different bubbles. There were a few technical difficulties but we were all able to share the experience together. Everyone worked really hard to sing, read and recite their songs and poems. So please enjoy the videos from each class.

Nursery

The children from Nursery performed a lovely version of 'Dingle, dangle scarecrow'.

Explorers class

In Explorers class, the children sang a song called 'Little Red Hen she baked some bread'. They talked about the harvest and how it produced the wheat to make the flour for making the bread.

Blake class

Blake class performed a super song called 'Bean Harvest'.

Brunel class

Brunel class sang the classic harvest song 'Cauliflowers fluffy'. They also made some lovely fruit and vegetables to use in their performance.

Raleigh class

Raleigh class sang beautifully together, performing 'Harvest Song'.

Kingsley class

Kingsley class wrote cinquain poems which they share in the video below.

Drake class

Drake class re-wrote 'The twelve days of Christmas' to become the 'The twelve days of Harvest'. Well done to our cameraman who is a member of Drake class.
